Chad Allan Consulting, LLC, a Medina-based internet consulting firm, has announced its second Focus on Community, a program designed to give back to the community in a creative and meaningful way. Beginning July 1, 2009, Medina and Summit County nonprofits are invited to submit an application to request pro bono website services.  The Application Form may be downloaded from the firm’s website by clicking here. Each applicant will have a chance to be chosen as the recipient of a new website design and content management system.

Applications will be evaluated by an independent committee comprised of community leaders, who will narrow the field to 3 finalists. The Chad Allan creative team will then select the winning application based upon organizational need, the requested timeframe, and whether the proposed project matches the talents of the participating creative team.

Chad Wilson, Founder and CEO of Chad Allan, says that with the current economic situation, local nonprofits are hesitant to create or improve their much needed web presence. “We have always participated in and helped out local nonprofits in any way we could,” says Wilson. “As a small business owner, it’s sometimes difficult – but necessary – to turn down a sponsorship or donation request. We may be sometimes short on cash, but we are never short on ideas and creative talent. So we found a new way to give back to the community.”

The timeline for Focus on Community is ambitious:
