The Barberton Public Library has launched its recently redesigned website. Designed by Chad Allan Consulting of Medina, the new www.BarbertonLibrary.org offers greater ease of use, along with expanded online resources.
In making the announcement, Library Director Julianne Bedel said, “Working with Chad Allan was a very positive experience. The site that they designed for us reflects our library's commitment to customer service. It's much more interactive than our former webpage and reflects the direction in which we are growing. An added benefit is that our library staff are able to manage the site, and we'll be able to refine content pages ourselves, which keeps maintenance costs to a minimum.”
Links at the top of the home page will take users to useful material at the Reference Desk,
Health Library, Children’s Room, and the Local History Room. Also included are links to Teen Central with links to local schools, and a Research tab detailing other resources.
Chad Wilson, President of Chad Allan Consulting, says building the Library’s website was “textbook”. “Thanks to Julianne and her staff, we were able to collect all of the information we needed quickly and easily,” said Wilson. “They were willing to do whatever we needed to ensure that Barberton’s library patrons benefit from a top-notch website.”
Library patrons are invited to check out the new site and give the staff their feedback. “We are excited to hear what the public thinks of our efforts,” added Bedel. “We are still adding more information and all suggestions are welcome.”
